Our Founders

For the past 15 years Samuel and his wife Toni have devoted their life to The Ministry.

 In 2006 Sam became an Associate Pastor at Calvary Community Church for 4 years and currently serves as Lead Pastor of Embrace! Simply Jesus (formerly Harbor Missionary Church).

 

As pastors they saw how homelessness ruined lives and government programs could actually make the problem worse.  They formed the Kingdom Center, an organization that  battles homelessness by encouraging, equipping and empowering Ventura County women and children caught in the struggle.

The Kingdom Center organization has provided emergency shelter and transitional living centers for over 1000 men, women and their children over the past 12 years.

Sam and Toni saw suffering in other marginalized communities so in 2008 they founded Embrace! Ministries, whose mission remains to provide food and other much-needed resources for migrant farm workers and their families. So Treasured Harvest Ministry was born as a new corporation to grow and expand the ministry. This movement is called to reach the millions of unreached “foreigners in the land” who are now in our nation with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, starting with the Oaxacan people in California!
